Alistair Smith
In more than 30 years as a communications professional, there are not a lot of things Alistair hasn’t seen. In senior UK and global roles at Barclays, EY and Linklaters, he has successfully managed communications for mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management changes, reputation issues and crises. With a particular interest in helping leaders turn their business strategy into effective communications, Alistair relishes a challenge. He has put in place sophisticated reputation-tracking for organisations, using data as the foundation for successful communications and has run complex stakeholder communication campaigns to address key business challenges. He has also developed comprehensive crisis management plans for organisations, enabling them to protect their business and reputation.
When not communicating, Alistair likes to spend his time cycling, growing courgettes and walking the dog.
